We are seeking a Customer Engagement Manager (CEM) to join our Worldwide Public Sector Sales team, supporting Education and State & Local Government customers. In this role, you will serve as a strategy and customer engagement leader, acting as an extension of senior executive leadership, partnering directly with account teams to accelerate revenue, remove blockers, and build scalable go-to-market solutions that drive AWS adoption across SLG and EDU. This is a strategy and customer engagement position that requires you to deeply understand customer missions, work backwards from their needs, and orchestrate the full breadth of AWS resources, translating leadership priorities into execution, leading complex initiatives with significant bottom-line impact, and orchestrating high-impact customer engagements that deepen AWS's strategic influence and accelerate deal velocity. You will leverage voice-of-customer insights and competitive intelligence to develop repeatable frameworks that improve close rates, navigate competitive situations, and position AWS as the preferred cloud partner at scale.Key job responsibilities• Partner with account teams and senior leadership to identify blockers, accelerate deals, and translate strategic priorities into execution.
